Reply to "Radius or CDJ?"

I have the Radius 3000, I'm working with WD 500GB HD, transferred all my collection to MP3 at 320kbps, and only used 60GB, strap over using USB link, I can say I have had no issue as the use and functionality of the player, AA manual can or should have been more informative, but to figure things out gave me a more appreciative feel for my system. these players will do every thing the more expensive playes will do at a fraction of the price. Now granted that CDJ2000s does a trick or two more but not at all better. This is all suggestive. What's your level of performance at this stage will dictate which player is best for you. I co work with a DJ in a club he uses Serato, I use Radius 3000, there is no difference when we perform at all by the way his set up requires more time, with the two TT, laptop, PC, connecting the needles, vs. open the Radius case, bring up the laptop which help locate the files/songs/tracks/ plug in the HD and ready to play. I have everything I need to plug in and play inside the radius one case. HD, Radius 3000s, QD-5 mixer, headphone, three way extention cord, usb cables, RCA patch cable 1/4 rca patch, XLR cables I just pop the top, patch in and play within 5 minutes. it takes him at least 10 to 15 minutes to do what I do in less than 5 minutes. So bottom line up front the Radius 3000 will do everything you want for less dollars.
