ps2 vs. velocity (i kno this has been discussed a lot but please help)

aight, wats up guys i had a couple questions about these players...first of all i kno they use the same technology so im guessin theyre equally as good? from all of the pictures ive seen the velocity looks like the platters are a lot bigger than on the ps2 but i couldnt find actual measurements so i was wonderin if thats tru or its just the pics...also every picture ive seen of the velocitys theyre attached to each other, do they seperate so you cna put a mixer inbetween or do u have to put the mixer on the side (sorry for the noob questions) TIA

oh also i kno this is the amdj board but how does the cdj1000 compare? (if im not supposed to mention competitors stuff, i apologize)
