This way the fixtures aren't all running 24/7.
you would just DMX command them to power off, then turn off the console and everything's life span just went up by saving the fan from running.

Leaving lights unattended and powered on may present a slight fire hazard if a malfunction were to occur. Although the risk is generally low, it's a good practice to have fire safety measures in place, such as proper fire extinguishers and smoke detectors.
