Gigbar 2 worked with Kindle Fire but not on iPad

Very strange because I figured it would be the other way around. But today I got a 5th generation iPad to use with Mydmx go instead of my previous Kindle Fire HD because of microphone issues. I transferred everything over identically but now my gigbar 2 is not working with the color wheels. I can control each individual light with the faders but the live tab doesn't do anything. On my Fire HD everything worked great, so I'm not sure why this is happening. Any ideas?
