Focus Spot 2 Tilt troubleshooting

I have 2 Focus Spot 2 instruments and I'm having an issue with the tilt function not responding to commands or tests on one of the instruments (all other options function as intended). No error messages given. I installed the tilt motor from the non functioning instrument into the properly functioning instrument and the tilt motor performed all tasks as intended. Can someone point me in another direction to teoubleshoot? I'd like to have both instruments functioning in the next 2 months if possible. Thanks!
