If I may add, I would like to better explain my question.

I have noticed that my Beat Per Minute counter fluctuates, or in some cases, it won't pick up the BPM at all.

I have tried wave files on a CD, and tracks from an USB flashdrive. I ahve also played the same song on both units, and one will read the accurate bpm, while the other will show a high increase. What could cause this to happen?
