hello recluse. welcome! you are gonna need more than 8 channels to control all those lights otherwise you will have them overlapping which explains the prob with the led going off red when u want to move something else. to have best control over your lights you need to have enough space on your controller to control them all individually. i would look into getting the DMX operator 192, or if u have a spare PC laptop laying around MY DMX. sincerely,
