Well, screw that!

Seriously. More good news. I gotta verify a lot of this, but right now i'm in turn and burn mode but I'm liking what I'm seeing. I must be happy if I'm wasting time on my work to address this.

I have REMOVED the "offending" fixtures from MyDMX, then re-added them with the updated profiles. It appears that my settings stuck. I'm very happy. I could be insane, but right now it appears good.

So, it appears we can move fixtures and be safe. I'm sure many users need this. I doubt many usesr will be using wrong profiles and then need to recover. Since I "roll my own", sometimes I screw up, or I tweak one to work the way I need it to work.

I'm not going to question any copy/duplication of fixtures right now. These results look promising.

Wow, a lot crammed in here. This MyDMX is surprising in a good way more often than I post about.
