I had a similar challenge and I discovered that when the pause show button is pressed in, this will create the show to stop and scenes in live mode to stop working. I studied the manual on page eighteen the live bar is described and on page nineteen it shows an image of the live bar in the top right of live mode screen and it looks like a pause button II.
