Amercian Audio UCD-100 error messages

Hi,

Does someone know what's the meaning of the error codes on a UCD-100 CD player? I have one that was working perfectly fine and all of a suden it looks like the firmware locks and I was not able anymore to change the source, so I turned it off and on and the only thing is doing is saying WELCOME and after a couple of seconds there is the message Link Error that flash and that's it, no other lights are on, nothing.

How can I just reset it ? and "Link Error", link to what ? It looks like buggy.
